A magical outdoor adventure for children of all ages and their families will be set in the Fairy Garden in Tymon Park, Tallaght, writes Rachel Cunningham.
Sióg, by theatre company Freshly Ground Theatre, will give school performances 19 – 23 June followed by families on weekends: 24, 25 June, 1, 2, 8, 9 July at 11am and 2pm.
Based in Tallaght, and in residence at The Civic, the theatre group has developed a means to talk about the theme of sustainability with children and to show them that theatre can exist in lots of different spaces, through Sióg.
They can come on a journey through the Enchanted Walk in Tymon Park and encounter the magical creatures that call the park home and meet the mischievous fairies who dwell among the trees and flowers.
