On Sunday, September 3, Riverdance will present its inaugural Sensory Show at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre, writes Rose Barrett.
In partnership with Ireland’s National Autism Charity, AsIAm, Riverdance will showcase its 25th anniversary show to cater to a neurodivergent audience at 1 o’clock on the day.
The auditory landscape will be gentler, the theatre’s illumination will remain welcomingly lit, and specially designated quiet zones will be available to provide solace. To enhance the understanding of the performance, a comprehensive visual guide will also be at the viewer’s disposal.

Audiences of every background are invited to enjoy the show in a safe and non-judgmental space, designed to accommodate sensory differences. Secure your place at this ground-breaking event by booking your tickets online or at the Gaiety box office. https://riverdance.com/
