The BASH FOR PHILO 2023, Phil Lynott’s “Official” birthday party returns back to the Button Factory with an amazing line up on 19th August 2023 and will be one hell of a party, all thanks to The ROCK Dublin’s great, long term partners Eddie Rocket’s and Mattress Micks.
Kicking off the show is Phil’s Uncle Peter Lynott who will be performing a set of original songs including this latest single “Philomena” which is dedicated to his sister Philomena Lynott. Besides the acoustic performance Peter will be giving and insight into growing up with his famous Nephew and taking questions from the audience.
After the cake cutting and a heartfelt “Happy birthday“ to Phil, UK headline act ‘Dizzy Lizzy’ who are regarded as the best THIN LIZZY tribute band worldwide will take the stage by storm delivering a broad selection of all the Thin Lizzy songs fans have come to love.
This year the fans are in for a real treat with Ex THIN LIZZY keyboard player Darren Wharton from DARE who will be joining in the fun performing a selection of songs with DIZZY LIZZY.
This is show is a must for all This Lizzy fans and fans of great rock, as we celebrate the life and legacy of the countries favourite ROCK STAR, MR. PHIL LYNOTT.
