Festival lovers in Ireland had a little taste of what they have been missing for the last year and half with three days of music and festival vibes at Kaleidoscope’s ‘We Are Family’ this weekend.
Unlike most of Europe, capacity was restricted to 500 compared to its normal 25,000.
With all ages catered for , from babes in arms to grandparents, families celebrated the return of live events ensconcing themselves in the safely distanced pods as they soaked up the festival like atmosphere with performances from Bobbi Arlo, JC Stewart and ending on a high note with African Gospel Choir.

Elsewhere on the site kiddies were captivated by the colourful Boompaloompa area complete with carnival carousels, with music from Dj Joe Dougan, Javanese Gamelan and the Ballymore Brass Band. And of course entertainment would not have been complete without Fighting Words joke and songwriting workshops with Roisin Ingle and Explorium’s Mark the Science Guy.
