New year – New you, looking for a healthy hobby? Howth Foraging will host its next event on Saturday, January 28 from 2-4.30pm.
“Wild winter greens, join us on a magical tour identifying the early edible and medicinal plants Ireland has to offer. You’ll learn to confidently identify several safe edible plants, herbs and flowers,” wrote Howth Foraging.
“We’ll teach you how to tell the different trees and medicinal hedgerows too, and how to use our finds, medicinal remedies and tasty recipes. Follow up photo files, herbal teas, vegetarian snack and foraging packs included €50 per person.”

If Sunday, 28 books up, another foraging event will be hosted on Sunday 29. February’s events will be hosted on Saturday 11 from 2-5pm. With Valentines just around the corner, we will focus on some plants associated with love and the heart. Special foraged sweets on the day with Sloe Gin prosecco cocktails to finish, €55 per person.
