Dublin City Council has announced that all general admission tickets for its Winter Lights event at Merrion Square Park have sold out in record time, writes Rachel Cunningham.
The tickets, which cost €2 each for adults and includes the admission of two children, went on sale last Friday, November 10.
The third year of Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights at Merrion Square Park, tsome relaxed viewing tickets remain available for people who will benefit from a more relaxed environment, including those who identify as neurodiverse.
During this slot, 5pm to 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday evenings, no music will be played, people will have more space to move around and there will be a designated sensory unit away from the lights and sounds.
Members of the public can still enjoy the lights for free during the month of December, as 12 locations across the city centre will be transformed by projections and lighting displays.
