Indie crooner Mac DeMarco has added a second Dublin date to his upcoming Irish tour, and has announced his support act for the Vicar Street gigs.
The ‘Chamber of Reflection’ singer songwriter will take to the Vicar Street stage on November 25 and 26, in support of his recently released fourth record ‘Here Comes The Cowboy’.
The second date has been added due to overwhelming demand, following a sell out of the November 25 date. The Vicar Street stop is part of an 18-date tour across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
DeMarco’s latest album has received four star records from acclaimed music publications such as Q and MOJO. Nearly every instrument on the album was played by DeMarco, aside from keyboards on select tracks by touring memberAlec Meen.
In announcing the second date, DeMarco also revealed that that Cumbia-infused instrumental act, Los Bitchos will open both Vicar Street shows, in addition to other shows on the UK leg of the tour.
