A glittering day of racing at Ladbrokes Dublin Chase

Spring was firmly in the air as celebrities and racing fans gathered at Leopardstown Racecourse for the much-anticipated Ladbrokes Dublin Chase, one of the highlights of the Dublin Racing Festival. 

To celebrate this glittering day at races, Ladbrokes hosted an exclusive luncheon in the surroundings of the 1888 restaurant at the course. Just ahead of the lunch, Nicola McGeady, Head of PR for Ladbrokes was joined by champion jockey Paul Townend to provide expert insights on the form and odds on some of the clear favourites, as well as a personally fancied outsider or two.

Spotted reviewing their Ladbrokes racing cards were Irish soccer star Stephanie Roche and Irish boxing star Jason Quigley who was joined by his wife April. Other well-known faces included, TV presenter Model Roz Lipsett and her sisters Avila and Sarah ,Interior design guru Joanne Mooney, Miss Ireland, Jasmine Gerhardt , and Miss Universe Ireland, Aishah Akorede as well as Michelle Regazzoli Stone with her husband Mark and her sisters  Selina  and Louise.

As part of the day’s fun at the track, personalities and racing fans joined top Irish DJ Marty Guilfoyle on board the Ladbrokes LIVE Tour bus as part of the launch of new digital hub Ladbrokes Live. This new platform allows existing customers and new audiences into the Ladbrokes ‘World of Play’  giving them the chance to win free access to thousands of tickets to the best sporting events, live music and comedy shows, and much more.

Commenting, Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said “The Ladbrokes Dublin Chase at the Dublin Racing Festival is a special meeting with a unique atmosphere and of course a surprise or two on the track. This year the atmosphere was electric with the long weekend adding to spirits on and off the track. The arrival of the Ladbrokes Live Tour Bus to mark the launch of our new digital entertainment hub, Ladbrokes Live, added something a little different to the day. The experience proved popular with racegoers as they were among the first to sample the platform and win tickets to some top sporting events and gigs”.
