Ireland’s Most Colourful Woman Launches Culture Night 2022

Culture Night 2022 was launched at The Peacock Theatre by joy-bringer and possibly the most colourful woman in Ireland, Taryn de Vere, will launch the programme for Culture Night 2022.

Known for her fantastical costumes, artist, writer and fashion activist Taryn will be joined by artists from across the spectrum of the Culture Night Late Night programme and across Ireland. Offering glimpses of the fun and mischief to come on Friday September 23rd, Taryn will be accompanied by 4 performers from Paradise Cabaret, Kerry’s flagship late night event, Karen Dunn of Circus Factory Cork and Henrik Gard and Ali Stanger of Cikada Circus. Reflecting the theme and colours of Culture Night, the darkened set will be lit by a backdrop of ceiling to floor cascading colourful lights, and a neon sign (1m X 1m) lit up with Culture Night’s theme ‘One Night For All’. 

With hundreds of the country’s cultural gems and various venues opening to the public extra late and free of charge, Culture Night promises to be an evening of wonder and delight for all. Ireland’s cultural scene is bursting with talent and unprecedented creative outpouring in all forms of art and experimentation. Everyone is invited to get immersed in the best of contemporary culture told through a myriad of expressions. Around every corner there’ll be something new to absorb, from intriguing installations to stunning light projections, live performances to exhilarating exhibitions.
