Our Balbriggan Loves Learning Festival 2021

by Rose Barrett

Balbriggan residents are encouraged to explore the world of learning with the town’s first festival of education and training skills.

‘Our Balbriggan Loves Learning Festival’ will take place from April 19-30 and will explore a range of learning and upskilling opportunities.

The inaugural Festival was postponed in 2020 due to Covid. This year, it will take place online with a combination of learning showcases/videos and online live events.

A Loves Learning Festival section on Balbriggan.ie (coming soon) will operate as a central hub for all events and will be divided into four categories – learning for employment, learning for business, learning in the community and digital learning.

The Festival has been developed with a number of organisations, including Fingal County Council, Dublin & Dún Laoghaire Education & Training Board, Dublin Regional Skills Forum, Baldoyle Training Centre, Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce, Empower, Department of Enterprise and Social Protection and Balbriggan Integration Forum.

A series of live online virtual events will take place during this year’s Loves Learning Festival – please register in advance via the links below.
