98fm’s Big Slide Festival will once again return to Dublin

The largest water slide the capital has ever seen is coming to Christchurch Cathedral next weekend and we’ll be giving away special wristbands that allow YOU to try it out.

The whopping 260 ft slippery dip – which will run down the entire length of Winetavern Street – is even taller than than Liberty Hall (194 ft) or Google’s highrise HQ at Grand Canal Dock (220 ft).

In partnership with Dublin City Council, our friends at 98fm are recreating the Big Slide Festival for a second year running.

So get your swimming gear ready for what promises to be a slippery ride, packed full of music, entertainment, food – and of course, fun for all the family.

The event is free but only a limited number of wristbands allowing you into the festival are released each day. To get your hands on one, tune in to our official media partners 98fm for instructions on how to register.

And if you don’t get lucky that way – Dublin Gazette are delighted to announce that we will also have some of the most sought after tickets (or wristbands) in town up for grabs.

Just keep an eye on our website, social media and next week’s papers for details on how to #WIN.

Hopefully you’ll be able to join us at the Big Slide Festival on Saturday, July 15 from 12 – 6pm, or Sunday, July 16 from 12:30pm – 6pm.

You cannot let a chance like this slide!
