The dlr Mill Theatre has plenty of entertainment to choose from this weekend.
The new play All for the Love of Mammy by Margaret Mc Kenna Mullan will be showing Friday at 8:00 PM.
All for the Love of Mammy is a touching comedy-drama about the relationship between an adult daughter and her mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.
Mullan wrote the play about her final years with her own mother and stars as the titular Mammy.
Jackie Madden directs and Ann Hoey, Dermot Mc Elwaine and Eamon O Roarke star.
Tickets are €16 with discounts available for students and seniors.
The Saturday afternoon show, Punch Lion Kids Comedy is one the whole family can enjoy.
This stand-up comedy show is recommended for children ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be knock-knock jokes, songs, stories and audience participation sure to delight children.
Tickets are €9 with a special family of four deal for €32.
If music is more to your taste, Saturday night will feature Tonight’s The Night – The Ultimate Rod Stewart Tribute show.
Tonight’s The Night are Ireland’s number one Rod Stewart Tribute show. Frontman Richie Lee is supported by a seven-piece live show with backing singers.
