It’s game, set and match for Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club, which have been chosen to host Ireland’s Davis Cup match with Finland in April.
The match is a Europe/Africa Zone Group II second round tie and is set to take to the Castleknock courts on April 5 to 7.
“We are particularly pleased because this is the first time the club has been chosen for an international match of this nature,” president of the Castleknock club Geoff Ross said.
“Also one of our club members, James McGee, is the Irish number one on the team, so we are pleased we can host it in his home club.
“We will do our best to put on a good event,” he added.
