Clondalkin-based Digital Business Services are a great success story in local commerce. Originally started in a small basement with one printer in Dublin 2 in 1998, the company moved to its current location in 2001, and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
The brainchild of directors Brendan and Karen Donaghy, graduates of the IT boom in Ireland in the last 20 years, the company provide both large and small format digital print services, as well as a whole range of products, from banners to business cards. Understanding that continuous investment in new technology is essential to meet their customers’ demands, they recently invested in a state-of-the-art GP FB500 printer.
Recently, Digital Business Services were chosen as one of 10 SME winners to benefit from the Optimise Fund, a prize fund which enables companies to benefit from consultation, training and e-commerce development, thus strengthening their on-line presence.
