Harriers go West!

Dungarvan was sunny and calm for the annual John Tracey 10 miler around the wonderful West Waterford Town.

Nearly 3000 took to the line and meandered before heading out of the town and the lovely local countryside. Uphill downhill all part of a lovely course. Great fun and support all along the course. Not too many familiar faces as it attracts lots of Munster runners, but definitely worth a Bank Holiday Sunday morning spin.

5 Lucan Harriers made the Road trip, Mary Browne, Lhyne Ganadin, Tricia Gough, Henry Langton and Colin O Gara.

Mary as always was very strong and was first in her category.

Well done everyone and thank you to West Waterford AC and the people of the area for turning out in such big numbers and supporting the runners.
