PALMERSTOWN CS were celebrating on the double last week after they claimed the U-15 and U-17 junior metropolitan Dublin titles.
The U-15s beat a strong Marian College 2-1, Pobail taking the lead through Ola Animahsaun within the first two minutes of the game.
Pegged back to 1-1 by a determined Marian college, until the second half when Brandon Cleary scored the winner.
Having won the Dublin south region the pobail now progress to the overall Dublin metropolitan semi finals.
The U-17s, meanwhile, beat Firhouse CC 2-1 in their final.

Conor O’Gorman opened the scoring in the first half for Pobail with a nice finish after a superb pass by Ben coughlan. Firhouse equalised late in the first half.
Pobail were the main dominant team throughout and created plenty of chances.
Eventual winner came through Ben coughlan who scored from 25 yards out. Pobail ran out deserved winners and are now also in the final of the overall Dublin metropolitan U-17 Division 2 league.
