Lucan Harriers’ juveniles were out in force last Sunday at the Dublin Even Age Cross Country Championships in Abbotstown, with more than 80 athletes in the club competing.
The Dublin Championships acts as a qualifier for Nationals with the Top 12 individuals and the Top 3 teams in each race from U-12 and up qualifying for Nationals which take place in Donegal on November 20.
In total, the club had 18 top 12 finishers and six teams medalling with two individual and three team Golds with 26 .

Nation Cross Country U-15 champions
On the same day, Harriers’ own Mary Browne also qualified to represent Ireland in the upcoming International Cross Country in Santry, Eileen O Brien is a reserve in her category in Santry in the middle of November.
More than 20 Harriers club members who will be pounding the streets of Dublin this weekend in the Dublin City Marathon. There will be lots more club members stewarding in or around the Chapelizod/Ballyfermot.
