Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club (DSD) has announced the launch of its highly anticipated DSD Athletics Summer Camps.
These camps provide a unique opportunity for young athletes aged 7 to 16 to unleash their potential and ignite their passion for
athletics at the newly established DSD Campus on Tibradden Road in Dundrum.
The DSD Athletics Club Summer Camps offer an exceptional experience, combining expert coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and a dynamic curriculum tailored to different age groups.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a range of athletic disciplines, including high jump, long jump, turbo javelin, shot put, sprints, cross country, and more.
“Our aim with the DSD Athletics Club Summer Camps is to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes,” said Billy O’Dwyer, Camps Lead Coach at DSD.

“We are incredibly proud to offer a comprehensive program that nurtures athleticism, teamwork, and personal growth in a fun and supportive environment. With our qualified coaches and world-class facilities, we are excited to create a platform for young people to try new athletics disciplines and reach their full potential.”
The DSD Athletics Club Summer Camps will take place over four consecutive weeks, with each camp running for one week. The camps also offer parent friendly hours as they run from 9am until 3pm with an 8:30am early drop-off available. The camps are scheduled to begin on the weeks commencing July 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, offering flexibility for parents and guardians to choose a suitable date for their child’s participation.
The newly constructed DSD Campus boasts over 2km of purpose-built running trails and features an Olympic-standard 400m athletics track, providing participants with a top-tier training environment.
Each camp will be offering age-appropriate activities that balance intense athletic training and engaging games.
Participants will also receive a sports bag, DSD running t-shirt and a water bottle, ensuring they are well-equipped for their athletic pursuits.
