LUCAN HARRIERS’ over-50s women’s team secured the Leinster 10-mile title in St Annes Park, Raheny on a bright Easter Monday.
The Harriers over 50 team of Anne, Tricia and Breda are the New Leinster champions.
Individual places were Breda 2nd and 3rd for Tricia in the women’s 50 age group, and 1st for Anne in the women’s 55.
Not to feel outdone, Eileen came home 2nd in the women’s 70 category.
Meanwhile, the club’s European Champions are to be honoured by South Dublin County Council at a mayor’s reception on Friday at County Hall Tallaght.
