by Gazette Reporter

With St Patrick’s Day events cancelled, including the annual parade, in addition to the closure of pubs across the country due to social isolation guidelines from the HSE, a usually vibrant Dublin was near deserted on March 17 this year.

Temple Bar, Dame Street and many other areas of Dublin were absent of people on a day that the streets are usually packed to the rafters, with venues in the city buzzing with Irish pride.
