€170,000 drug bust at Balgaddy house

GARDAI have seized drugs with an estimated street value of over €170,000 from a house in Balgaddy this week, in what is believed to be a major blow to a local drug ring.
As part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Ronanstown and Lucan areas, gardai carried out a search of a house on Tuesday evening.
During the course of the search, cocaine worth an estimated €150,000 was seized together with cannabis worth about €20,000.
A firearm and ammunition were also recovered during the search.
A 37-year-old male was arrested at the scene.
