The Vodafone Comedy Festival returns to Dublin this week with an array of the country’s best comics taking to four different stages over four days.

From Thursday, 25 July to Sunday, 28 July, over 100 Irish and international names will converge on Iveagh Gardens near St Stephen’s Green.

Famous acts such as Tommy Tiernan, Dylan Moran and Jason Byrne are scheduled to perform a set as well as American comics Michelle Wolf, Jena Friedman and Cameron Esposito.

Bren Berry, festival director at Aiken Promotions, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Vodafone again for what is set to be another great year at the Vodafone Comedy Festival.

“It’s great to see the festival go from strength to strength, attracting incredible talent from all over the world, as well as showcasing & celebrating the phenomenal talent we have here in Ireland.”

The audience will also be joined by those behind popular Irish podcasts including Blindboy, Lindsey & Jenny from the It Galz Podcast as well as stand up from Deborah Frances-White.

Other international acts will include Sindhu Vee & London Hughes (from the UK), rising Australian comic Laura Davis plus Loyiso Gola from South Africa & Danish comedian, author and podcaster Sofie Hagen.
