The Dundrum Climate Vigil group is meeting on Main Street Dundrum on Friday morning, November 29, to raise awareness of the current climate crisis.

On September 20, a global school strike took place, including one on Main Street Dundrum where more than 350 people formed a human chain in solidarity with the striking students around the world.

There’s another global school strike taking place on 29 November and The Dundrum Climate Vigil are inviting locals to join them on the Main Street from 10.15 to 11.15am.

The group said: “This is an opportunity for local people to take part in the day, especially for those who cannot travel into the city centre later on to join the major student demonstration there at 12.30pm, which the Dundrum Climate Vigil group will itself join.”
