Gardai are investigating following the discovery of the bodies of a woman and two children at a home in South Dublin.
Neighbours in the Llewellyn estate in Ballinteer called Gardai this morning after they became concerned, RTE reports.
Gardai forced their way into the home, and discovered the bodies of the woman and two children, who are believed to be aged between six and 11.
Gardai remain on the scene at the time of writing, and the State pathologist has been informed.
In a statement, Gardai said: “Gardaí are currently at the scene of an incident at a residential property in South Dublin where the bodies of two children and an adult have been discovered.
“There is no further information available at this time.”
Gardai are also understood to be looking to speak to a man in his 30s, who was known to the woman and two children.
