Tributes have been pouring in for Rathfarnham model Alli MacDonnell who has died suddenly at the age of 37.
The mum-of-four was signed to Andrea Roche’s modelling agency and was a regular contributor to Ireland AM.
She was known for her campaigns for Autism Ireland after becoming involved with the organisation when her son Harry was diagnosed with the condition in 2016.
Speaking on the sad news, Autism Ireland said they are “deeply saddened” to hear of the untimely passing of their ambassador.
“Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all her family and children at this time.
“Alli was an invaluable contributor to Autism Ireland, a much-loved voluntary team member and friend to all at the charity.
“She worked tirelessly to raise awareness for Autism over the past number of years and was always on hand, eager and available to help with ongoing campaigns.
“An amazing mum and beautiful lady inside and out. We will miss her dearly.”
Gardaí confirmed to Dublin Gazette that they are treating Alli’s death as a “personal tragedy”.
