With Halloween looking a little different this year, try to move your frightful festivities online while helping to raise vital funds for Dublin Simon Community with this challenge.
Simon’s Costume Challenge invites the whole household to get in the Spooktacular spirit by posing for a picture dressed in your Halloween best.
By making a donation on the Dublin Simon Facebook page and sharing your Halloween pic on Facebook or Instagram, you and yours will be in with a chance of winning a hamper of Halloween treats, kindly donated by a corporate sponsor.
Entries will be accepted until November 1st, with the winning picture being announced on Dublin Simon’s social media on Friday November 6th.
What you dress up as and what you donate is completely up to you (they suggest the usual cost of sweets for trick-or-treaters), with all funds raised will go towards supporting the 6,813 homeless adults and children in Dublin & the surrounding counties throughout the Covid-19 crisis.
If dress-up isn’t your thing, feel free to share a pic of your pumpkin carving or Halloween art using the hashtag #SimonsCostumeChallenge.
How to take part:
- Take a pic of your little devil, devils or the whole haunted household dressed in your Halloween best!
- Visit the Dublin Simon Facebook page to donate what you can to Dublin Simon Community here.
- Take a screenshot of your donation receipt
- Upload (a) your costume picture and (b) your donation screenshot to Facebook or Instagram tagging @DublinSimonCommunity and including the hashtag #SimonsCostumeChallenge
Keep your eyes peeled on the Dublin Simon social channels for the winning entry.
