Legendary US actor William Shatner will be dropping in to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre early next year for a special audience-led Q&A event.

Audiences will watch a screening of the classic film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan on the big screen on March 10, 2020 followed by a live conversation with the one and only Captain James T. Kirk.

The 88-year-old legendary actor will be sharing stories from the iconic television series along with discussing his most memorable moments from his career spanning over 50 years as an award-winning actor, producer, director and writer.

He recently said he’d love to reprise the role of Captain Kirk for Quentin Tarantino’s possible Star Trek film project.

“Quentin Tarantino said something in the paper that somebody said to me, that he loved me. And Quentin, I love you.

“If you’re going to do Star Trek, hey, 50 years later, a few pounds heavier, come on, not a problem,” Shatner told Reuters at London’s Film and Comic Con last Friday.

“Well I’d like to do it – whether I’d be up for it I don’t know.”

Tickets on sale this Friday, August 2, at 9am at all usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
