The River Camac Flood Alleviation Scheme is currently exploring options to help manage flood risk within the catchment and the project team will be giving a public update on its progress, writes Rachel Cunningham.
The purpose of the events is to gain the views of the public, to ensure they are considered at the next stage of the project, which will be the selection of the preferred option.
The events will be in-person and the project team has stated that members of the public are welcome to drop-in at any time for a chat or to come along to listen to a 30-minute presentation about the potential options at various intervals throughout the day.
Two public consultation events will be taking place between 1pm and 8pm, with presentations on draft flood maps and initial flood management options scheduled for 1pm, 3.30om and 7pm on both days.
The first consultation will be located at the Civic Offices in Clondalkin on Tuesday, June 28. A further consultation will be held in Richmond Barracks, Inchicore, on Wednesday, June 29.
