Palmerstown Camera Club welcomes new members

Do you love capturing those special moments with your camera or phone? Do you like taking photographs of sunsets, nature, family, travel or some other areas.  If you do then Palmerstown Camera Club is always looking for new adult members who want to improve and enjoy their photography. Whether you are a novice photographer or advanced you will be made very welcome. 

On Wednesday the 19th of May we welcome, by Zoom, Guy Edwardes from Dorset, England, who has been a professional landscape, nature and travel photographer for over twenty five years. His main interest is photographing wildlife and wild places.    He tries to capture subjects in new ways, often working on new techniques in order to produce a unique image. Many of his most successful images have been taken within a few miles of his home.

His work has been published worldwide with clients that include: Amateur Photographer, Outdoor Photography, Practical Photography, The Reader’s Digest, and many card and calendar publishers around the world. He has also published two successful books on landscape and nature photography techniques.  He runs about 35 landscape and wildlife workshops on location every year.

The meetings start at 8.00pm on Wednesdays. You can get involved in the club by attending one or two meetings for free and learning from the weekly presentations and workshops. They also have a free members course for novice photographers. You can attend Zoom meeting from your own computer. We have selected a few of the Winning images from Palmerstown Camera Club’s April  Competition to showcase. The theme was Delicate so there was a wide variety of subjects.
