Deliveroo is using their understanding of ‘small’ and ‘far away’ by teaming up with Sano Pizza in Temple Bar to celebrate ‘Small, Far Away Day’ from the hit sitcom, Father Ted.

Only on July 19, Deliveroo customers can order far away (large) and small (mini) pizzas in thirty minutes or less.

Sano Pizza is offering three pizza options for the celebration: Marinara, Margherita and Diavola. The minis range from €4 to €5 and the large pizzas from €7 to €9.90.

Father Ted was revived by social media in recent years, and now July 19th has become known as ‘Small, Far Away Day’ in celebration of when the classic Irish sitcom first aired.

The “Hell” episode premiered in 1996 and it shows Father Ted and Father Dougal during their annual summer holiday in a caravan.

The famous scene has Father Ted attempting to explain to Father Dougal the difference between the cows being small and the cows being far away which makes them appear small.

Unlike Father Dongual, Deliveroo and Sano Pizza understand the difference and created the mini pizzas in honor of the most quoted scene.

The minis from Sano Pizza will be available one day only on July 19th exclusively on Deliveroo.
