A huge online retailer are set to hold a massive sample sale in UCD next Friday, with clothes on sale for €2 to €5.

PrettyLittleThing will hold a student sample sale on Wednesday, October 2nd, with all proceeds from the event going to mental health charity Young Minds.

It’s part of a sample sale roadshow taking place across the UK, with the UCD stop off the only Irish date.

A spokesperson for PrettyLittleThing said there’s two main reasons why the fashion retailer hold the event, ‘to connect with [their] student customers who are predominately [their] biggest audience’ and also to raise money for the charity.

“We understand that students often have little income, but everyone wants the latest garments and trends to start the term.

“This year we have chosen to raise money for a great charity called Young Minds. As a brand we are huge advocates for promoting positive mental health and we very much want to support and leverage Young Minds goal of helping young people.

“With it also being National Suicide Prevention Month during September, we feel we can provide a greater awareness for Young Minds and the work they do and support they have available,” a spokesperson continued.

All items on sale will be priced from €2 to €5, making it a great excuse to grab a bargain if you’re around. The event will be cash only, with more information available on Facebook.
