Three of the biggest names in modern rock have announced a massive gig at the RDS next summer.

Musical titans Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer announced they will be heading out on the road together on the Hella Mega Tour, following several teasers sent out to fans and posted on social media.

The tour will kick off in June 13 2020 in Paris, before making it’s way across the UK and Europe before landing in Dublin on June 20 for a date at the RDS Stadium.

To celebrate the Hella Mega tour announcement, all three bands also announced details of new music. Green Day will release their new album, ‘Father Of All…’ in February 2020, Fall Out Boy’s new album ‘Believers Never Die: Volume Two’ will release in November, and Weezer’s ‘Van Weezer’ will debut in May 2020.

MCD Productions are holding a presale for tickets to the gig next Wednesday, September 17, and American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, September 16 until Thursday, September 19.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 20 at 10am local time at Ticketmaster.ie, with VIP packages also available next week.

Neil Grimmer, President of Brand for the Harley-Davidson Motor Company who are sponsoring the Hella Mega tour, said: “Harley-Davidson and rock & roll have been synonymous throughout history, so it’s only natural for Harley to present the most epic, full throttle rock tour in history!”

Concert-goers will see and experience the newest Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including the fully electric LiveWire and their new, exciting lineup of electric bicycles.

Tickets are priced from €79.50 (including booking fee), and the event is subject to licence.
