Nominations are now open for 98FM’s annual Best of Dublin Awards.

Now in their fifth year, the awards shine a light on Dublin’s hidden gems. They aim to highlight all the people and places that make Dublin fantastic.

From Best Coffee to Best Sports Club, to Best Bus Driver and Best Taxi Driver, 98FM are looking for you to nominate the people that are most deserving of the title of Dublin’s best.

Nominations are open until May 4th, when five well-deserving nominees in each of the 16 categories will be shortlisted. Shortlisted nominees will be sent out a promotional pack to encourage friends, families, customers and more to log onto 98fm.com to vote for them.

The winners will be announced on May 31st in Royal Hospital, Kilmainham.

The 16 award categories cover all the best services Dublin has to offer, including local legends, favourite food and drink venues and even best barber. Last year, the awards received 18,733 nominations and almost 800,000 votes were counted to crown the winners.

Finalists last year included local heroes such as paramedic David Kelly who won the coveted Dublin Hero award, Marcus Richardson who won Best Taxi Driver, as well as high profile Dubliners like Brendan O’Carroll, star of Mrs. Brown’s Boys who won Best Dub.

Those shortlisted for a Best of Dublin award can also be in with a chance to win a whopping €10,000 worth of advertising with 98FM for the Best Campaign.
