A workshop aimed at people interested in starting their own community garden will take place in Ballymun next week.
The workshop is being run by environmental charity Global Action Plan, who are based in the northside suburb, and will take place on June 20.
This workshop is suitable for groups starting or in the early stages of their community garden. It will also delve into the UN Sustainable Development Goals and learn how as a framework, the global power our local community gardens have for people, society and the environment.
Global Action Plan have said that they need three groups of four participants – 12 people – in order for the workshop to go ahead. They encourage RSVP’ing before June 14 to secure a place.
