Covid Pulls Plug On Longitude Festival

by Gazette Reporter

The Longitude Festival due to take place between July 2-4 in Dublin’s Marlay Park has been cancelled.

Dejected organisers broke the news following the most updated information from the government on such concerts.

According to the statement it became clear “that we simply will not be able to make Longitude happen this year due to Covid-19 restrictions.”

The festival organisers apologised to patrons who had already bought tickets and said they will be able to receive a refund from their point of purchase.

They added that those who booked online or by phone will have automatic refunding processed by Ticketmaster.

Longitude 2022 is due to take place between July 1-3 next year.
