Rockers on the rise, Inhaler, have announced a headlining gig at Whelan’s this September.

The Dublin-based quartet will play the legendary Wexford Street venue on September 27, following a stellar year supporting the likes of Noel Gallagher, Blossoms, The Academic and the Coronas.

Inhaler, comprised of Robert Keating on bass, Ryan McMahon on drums, Josh Jenkinson on lead and frontman Elijah Hewson on vocals and rhythm, have had a whirlwind year so far.

Having been featured by Hot Press magazine in their “Hot for 2018” list, Inhaler continue to focus on creating new material whilst gigging around the UK and Ireland.

Following the release of singles My Honest Face and It Won’t Always Be Like This, the quartet have gained a huge amount of support from radio stations like RTE 2FM – who have the band placed as part of their 2FM Rising acts of 2019 – PlayIrish.com, and Today FM.

Last year saw the band play their first festivals – Indiependence and Electric Picnic – in 2018, before selling out their first headliner in Whelan’s last September. Inhaler also featured in last year’s line-up for Dublin’s New Year’s Festival.

This summer Inhaler will also play a number of festival dates across the UK at the likes of the Neighbourhood Weekender, TRNSMT, Truck Festival and Boardmasters, ahead of November’s headline tour.

Tickets for the Whelan’s headline gig priced at €11 go on sale on Wednesday, June 19 at 9am from WAV Tickets. The show is strictly over 18’s, and ID will be required on the night.
