Social and Affordable housing development

by Rachel Cunningham

A proposal has been made for a social and affordable housing development comprising of 263 residential units on a site located on lands within Clonburris SDZ, in the subsector known as Kishogue South West, writes Rachel Cunningham.

In addition to 263 new homes, this project would apparently include new community facilities, three landscaped open spaces and associated site works.

The planning authority has made a preliminary examination of the nature, size and location of the proposed development and has concluded that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development. A determination has been made that an AA and EIA are not required.

The plans and particulars will be available for inspection online on the Council’s Public until May 26.

Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development can be made until 4.30pm on Friday June 10.
