A new multi-denominational primary school, Gaelscoil Eoin, is located on Haddington Place in Dublin 4 and it will open its doors to pupils in September.

Speaking as building renovations progressed to the final stage, Cormac Mc Cashin, school manager said: “We are really excited about opening our new school. The benefits of immersion education are well documented and the demand for Irish-medium education is incredible.”

“The fact that the new school will be the area’s first multi-denominational Gaelscoil makes this announcement even more important. Gaelscoil Eoin is open to absolutely everyone. We welcome all pupils regardless of their background, religion or language of the home.”

Meanwhile Principal Cristín Ní Chairealláin said that the school is delighted to be opening in a permanent building.

“Our pupil-teacher ratio will be unmatched and our doors are open to all. I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that we are still accepting Junior Infants to start this September. If you are still considering where to send your child, a warm welcome awaits them at Gaelscoil Eoin,” she added.
