Gardai are investigating after a teenager was killed in a stabbing incident in East Wall on Tuesday night.
A public order incident was reported to An Garda Siochana after 9pm on January 26, and emergency services and Gardai attended the scene.
It is believed an argument broke out between two groups in the north inner city, involving a delivery driver.
Two teen males were taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries, with one later pronounced dead in hospital.
He has been named locally as talented 16-year-old footballer Josh Dunne from North Dublin.
A third male has since presented to the Mater Hospital with injuries.
In a statement, Gardai said they are now appealing for anyone in the area who may have information or footage to get in touch.
The statement read: “Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the East Road, East Wall area between 9:00pm and 9:40pm and may have any information or footage (including dash cam), to contact Store Street Garda Station on 01 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Phone Number 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.”
East Wall remains sealed off by Gardai at the time of publication.
