Two men were arrested after Gardaí seized drugs worth an estimated €117,000 in Clondalkin.
The discovery was made during a search of a premises in Ashwood Park yesterday.
A quantity of heroin, believed to be worth up to €115,000 and €2,000 worth cannabis was found.
Gardaí say the operation was targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Clondalkin area.
Two men were arrested at the scene and are being detained at Clondalkin Garda Station.
A Garda spokesperson said:
“As a result of an investigation by the Clondalkin Drugs Unit into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Clondalkin area a premises in Ashwood Park, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 was searched today, Monday 22nd July 2019.
“During the course of the search Gardaí recovered Heroin (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €115,600 and Cannabis (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €2,000.
“Two men were arrested at the scene in connection with this investigation and are currently detained at Clondalkin Garda station under Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.”
