As banks continue to close their city branches, Dublin Credit Unions are anxious to underline the opposite trend – they are here to stay.
Why? Because they are not-for-profit, financial co-operatives that are embedded in their local communities. They exist to serve members’ needs and help them realise their ambitions.
Despite the unfortunate news about AIB closing 13 more branches in the Dublin area, and the loss of services that will mean for the local community, Credit Unions are there to support those affected.
In each of the 13 areas, there is a Credit Union to step in and look after members loans, savings, or any other financial services.
