Conor McGregor may face charges after he allegedly punched an elderly man in a Dublin pub.
A CCTV video emerged yesterday via website TMZ Sports, of McGregor getting into a disagreement with a man at the Marble Arch Bar in Drimnagh back in April.
Gardaí have confirmed investigations in relation to the incident are ongoing however no arrests have been made.
The video has reportedly been handed to the Director of Public Prosecutions by the gardai where a decision will be made as to whether McGregor will be charged.
Meanwhile, UFC President Dana White has confirmed the man in the video is Conor McGregor.
Speaking to Jim Rome on the CBS Sports Network yesterday White said he knew about the alleged incident before the video emerged and that he is not impressed with McGregor’s behaviour.
‘When you deal with fighters, guys who fight for a living, there’s always something,” White said.
“If you look at some of the greatest, [Mike] Tyson, what Tyson went through at his peak.
‘Every time you take a guy who is a professional fighter and you sprinkle a ton of money on top of it, get ready.
“Get ready for a disaster.
“Literally a disaster.
‘What’s it going to cost Conor McGregor before he decides, “All right, this isn’t worth it, enough is enough, I need to stop doing this”.
‘The incident in New York cost him millions. Millions he had to pay out. He had to pay the guy with the phone. What’s he going to pay this guy?
‘The list just goes on and on.
“I just don’t know when he wakes up and says, “I’ve got to stop doing this.”’
