Cyclist dies after collision with bus

Gardai are investigating the death of a man following a collision between a bus and a bicycle in north Dublin on Tuesay morning.

The cyclist, who is in his forties, was rushed from the scene near Dublin Airport to Connolly Hospital but unfortunately lost his battle for life on Tuesday evening.

A technical examination of the scene was undertaken and Gardai have made an appeal for anyone who saw the accident to contact them.

 In  particular, they want to speak to road users travelling in the Newtown area from Kilshane Cross to Dublin Airport yesterday morning.
