Met Eireann issue Yellow Fog Warning for tonight into Monday – Dublin motorists, take note!

Met Eireann have issued a Yellow Fog warning for all of Ireland ⚠️

Motorists and pedestrians should take note, and no unnecessary trips should be made amidst hazardous driving conditions.

Areas across Dublin will experience fog that will become dense and widespread this evening and linger until Monday morning, January 8. next.

Met Eireann warns that it will remain cold this evening, highest temperatures from 2-5 degrees.

Tonight will be dry apart from a few showers near the coast. Mist may thicken into fog for a time. It will be very cold with frost and icy patches. Frost and fog will clear in coastal parts later in the night.

Lowest temperatures of -2 to +1 degrees with light variable or easterly breezes.

National Outlook

High pressure dominating this week, bringing mostly dry and cold weather with some sunshine. Frost and ice will develop at night along with patches of mist and fog.
