A Springboard+ qualification from TU Dublin can help students to build on their experience or to develop new skills to widen their opportunities and take on new challenges. It is especially suitable for those who are currently unemployed, returning to the workforce or already in employment and seeking to re-skill or up-skill.

Commenting on the changing nature of the world of work, particularly over the last 20 months, TU Dublin stated: “It’s important to remember that our careers are more than just a job, they include all of our experiences at work, in periods of unemployment, and in our personal lives and, as such, are constantly evolving.”

TU Dublin’s Springboard+ programmes are free for applicants who are unemployed or returning to the workforce, while those in employment pay just 10 per cent of the overall fees.

TU Dublin currently has Springboard+ funded places available on internationally recognised programmes in Digital Marketing, Digital Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking & Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Pharmaceutical Technology, Cloud solutions, Computing, and DevOps.

In the interest of flexibility, many of these programmes use a combination of teaching methods, including online lectures, group project work and face-to-face workshops and tutorials.

A Virtual Springboard+ open evening will be taking place on Tuesday, January 18, between  8 and 9 pm. Interested parties can register at tudublin.ie/springboard.

Springboard+ is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union.
