The annual Core Credit Union dlr Community 5K has been held for the past 11 years in Kilbogget Park. Due to COVID restrictions, they have had to reimagine the event for 2020 – and they have invited you to take part in this family-friendly event.
From the 26th September to 4th October as part of the European Week of Sport, you can complete a 5k at a time and place that suits you within those dates. We encourage you to go to your local DLR park and run, walk, roll your way through 5 km and send us a picture or video when you have finished.
Registration for the event is online through https://dlrcommunity5k2020.eventbrite.ie and there is no registration fee, however if you would like to make a donation to a local charity of your choice that would be very much appreciated.
Special event T shirts will be posted out to the first 100 people to register and there will be medals posted out to everyone who emails us their times and a fun finishing photo / video.
