Guests were happily surprised to meet some special guests including the new Taoiseach Leo Varadkar who had started his first full day in office.
Over 100 members of the Ukrainian community in Ireland gathered for a very special lunch hosted by Harry Crosbie at his Vicar St venue, with a group of children singing songs in Ukrainian helped along by Santa Claus.

The Taoiseach said he was very much thinking of the Ukrainians who arrived in Ireland this year, particularly Ukrainian children for whom this will be their first Christmas away from home.

Harry Crosbie and the Irish Red Cross along with the representative group Ukrainian Action in Ireland had all collaborated on putting together a community resource centre at the famous entertainment centre earlier this year and which has now relocated to Rathmines for the winter.
