Twenty-seven participants recently took part in an informative workshop (Zero Waste Community Group) on fashion upcycling earlier this month with Rush Tidy Towns.

The workshop, kindly facilitated by The Rediscovery Centre and funded by Fingal County Council gave the Rush community group the opportunity to learn and develop their upcycling skills in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Next up will be a furniture upcycling workshop which is sure to be a similar success.
Following on from two hugely successful events, Rush Tidy Towns hosted another Community Seed and Plant Swapping Event. The event held on Saturday last, October 22, gave locals the chance to share seeds and pick up some plants and cuttings.
Hosted at Rush Community Centre, these events have been incredibly popular with locals and enthusiasts alike – keep an eye out on Rush Tidy Towns of FB and social media for future events.
Halloween – Let’s Play Rush

Kenure Woods will be the spooky setting for an afternoon of fun and activities such as a Pumpkin Hunt and a Boules Competition. Games, toy and prizes for the kids will make for a spooktacular day! All welcome.
