As Christmas Panto’s kick off, the Millbank Theatre Rush is proud to present the tale of little Red Riding Hood, Granny and the Big Bad Wolf as they take on Flash Harry in a hilarious production by members of Rush Dramatic Society and Rush Musical Society.

Following on from the previous smash hit Entangled, this year’s stellar cast of Ciaran Payne, Donal Hurley, Doireann Comiskey, Seán Corcoran, Andrea Hickey, Emer Spain and Katie Lennon as Red Riding Hood.

All are delighted to welcome back Barry Kavanagh as director, Colin Sloan as musical director along with Eimear Sheridan as choreographer.

The return of this team backed by the expertise at Rush Panto Group is bound to ensure this year’s production will be bigger and better than ever!

The show director Barry Kavanagh noted: “Rush audiences young and not so young will have a Christmas to re- member. This wonderful script is written by Martin Higgins (Gaiety Panto, June Rogers Christmas Show, Everyman Theatre Cork) offering all the necessary panto ingredients in a sparkling story for all the family.” Red Riding Hood promises all the classic blend of cheesy jokes, political satire, by local juniors & teens mixed with the usual local slapstick.

Spokesperson for the Millbank Theatre, Sean Corcoran said “ We are delighted to be back with our Post Pandemic Panto, it’s selling very well and we can guarantee a family fun time with all the characters of the forest!

A special guest is due to visit so make sure to pick up your golden ticket to this wonderful show!”

The production takes to the stage over three weekends this month:

Thursday 8 – Sunday, December 11;

Wednesday December 14 -Saturday 17

Wednesday 28-Saturday, December 31

Matinees at 2.30pm on weekends, evening performances at 7.30pm.
