Cllr Howard Mahony, former Mayor of Fingal recently launched St Brigid’s Photo Group’s Annual Exhibition at Blanchardstown Library. An avid photographer himself, he was excited at the 85 images exhibited by members, capturing local events, people, places, bugs and birds, sunrise and sunset, and more.
“Stress Release is about the best way I can describe photography, you go into your own little world and there’s nothing
like photography, to get you out and about,” said Cllr Mahony. “It’s just me and my camera; a wonderful
way to get away from it all.”

St Brigid’s Photo Group are very grateful to Blanchardstown Library for hosting the exhibition for the Group again this year. St Brigid’s has been in existence for over 24 years and meets every Tuesday evening at 8pm in the Parish Centre at Blanchardstown Church.
